Detroit

I'm still waiting on one more roll of film to get developed but I am happy with some of the results of my experiment with photography while I was there. Skating, living and urban decay, I tried to capture it all.

Detroit

Joel and I hit up Detroit for a weekend with the homies and fellow Love advocates.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Pontus Alv, Dan Pensyl, Jimmy McDonald, Willy Akers and a slew of other 5Boro and Carhartt heads. All of whom are amazing skateboarders and super nice individuals.
We ate meals, both good and bad and skated and had fun. There will ( hopefully) be some photo content for the first issue ( which is now set to be released with and packaged in the summer line of Love decks).
For now check out this flip cam footage I put together of our couple days with friends both new and old.

Delays and set backs = a part of life

So obviously the first issue is not out on time. Oh well. That's life.
I have the oppertunity to get a few rad, last minute tid bits of content so now I am just waiting on those.
But first things first. There is a new shop in Burlington, WELL stocked on Love products and a wide assortment of other awesome skate products so get your asses down to Run Down and spend your money. Support independent shops and local brand! ( fb is lame but add them on there! http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100002241042988 ).
